Sydney, Australia – EWE Group proudly marked its 15th anniversary on May 16 with a special celebration held in the prestigious Yallamundi Room at the iconic Sydney Opera House. The event brought together clients, partners, and industry leaders to honour 15 years of growth, innovation, and resilience as a proudly Australian logistics company.

Founded in 2010, EWE has grown from a modest local operation into a leading international logistics provider. Today, it operates branches in China, Germany, and the United States, with eight strategically located distribution centres across Australia. Its latest facility in Maddington, Western Australia, further strengthens EWE’s integrated logistics, eCommerce, and freight forwarding capabilities nationwide.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Founder and Chairman Sam Shan shared: “We’ve stumbled, hustled… but we’ve never lost sight of our mission: delivering trust, efficiency, and a bit of EWE warmth in every package.”

Speaking on behalf of CEO Chen Wang and the executive team, Chief Operating Officer Chris Wang addressed the company’s adaptive response to global challenges: “In the face of global supply chain disruptions—from the pandemic to shifting policies—we’ve recognized the urgent need to build greater resilience and adaptability.”
Looking ahead, EWE is focused on four strategic pillars to drive its next phase of growth: intelligent optimisation using data and AI, automation through smart sorting and unmanned warehousing, sustainability via energy-efficient infrastructure, and advanced capacity to support Just-In-Time and flexible logistics solutions.

Patrick Mayoh, CEO of the Australia China Business Council (NSW), congratulated EWE on its milestone: “EWE has played a vital role in strengthening trade and business ties between Australia and China. The celebration also featured a harbourside fireside chat with industry leaders Michael Bourne, Director of BR International Logistics, and RJ Singh, CEO of Freight & Logistics Services Australia (FLSA). The event provided valuable networking opportunities and underscored EWE’s commitment to service, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
